TNS energo Nizhny Novgorod opens modern new customer service centre in Arzamas

The Mayor of the town of Arzamas, Tatyana Parusova, and the Head of Administration of the Arzamas district, Vasily Demin, attended the opening as honoured guests. Representatives of TNS energo Nizhny Novgorod, Deputy General Director for Electricity Sales, Evgeny Vodopyanov, the Head of the Arzamas division, Petr Zubankov, and the heads of sections of the Arzamas division of the company were also present.

The Customer Service Centre represents a unified centre for consumers of electricity in Arzamas and the Arzamas district. Consumers from the town and district will be served in the state-of-the- art office. The spacious CSC office with a total area of 200 sq.m is located in a new building in the town centre. It is equipped with Electronic Line System, terminals for recording meter readings and for receiving payments for energy consumption, is fully air conditioned and meets up-to-date fire safety standards. There are 11 service windows for customers together with facilities for people with disabilities, including a telescopic mobile access ramp equipped with a call button.

The total number of personal accounts serviced by the CSC is currently 67.3 thousand, including 39.5 thousand personal accounts in Arzamas and 27.8 thousand in the Arzamas district.

At the opening, Evgeny Vodopyanov said,
“In our work, we focus on a customer-oriented approach and service quality, improving and developing customer services, training personnel, building new customer service centres or modernising existing ones. In this new customer service office we have used state-of-the-art technology in an optimal way, creating convenient conditions for offering a wide range of services. The experience of face-to-face interaction between customers and TNS energo Nizhny Novgorod is being taken to a whole new level.”

Arzamas Mayor, Tatyana Parusova, added
“For residents of the town and district, the opening of the new customer service office is particularly important. People living in apartment buildings, and the heads of homeowners’ associations can come in personally and ask any questions they may have, to help them understand communal use charges, or to find out the reasons for particular debts relating to their buildings. In addition, the office is fully up to date, is located in the town centre and has convenient transport access. It is definitely an important step forward.”

“Residents of the Arzamas district often have questions about power supply charges, but they don’t all want to have to deal with these online, so I am sure that the new customer service centre will be in high demand,” said Vasily Demin. “It is especially important that customers and personnel will be able to communicate in comfortable conditions. I am very pleased that TNS energo Nizhny Novgorod is providing such an example, as a customer focused company, demonstrating its ability to ensure effective organisation of the interaction between its employees and consumers.”

Vasily Demin also expressed his gratitude to the Head of the Arzamas division, Petr Zubankov, for his long-term cooperation, and the company’s contribution to ensuring the safe and uninterrupted supply of power to settlements in the Arzamas district.
