Today, the awards ceremony for the winners of the III annual federal Reliable Partner awards took place in the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The project's regional stages have been under way for two months across 30 constituent entities of the country. In the 11 regions where TNS energo operates, more than 110 industrial, non-industrial and budget sector enterprises, as well as housing communal and agriculture enterprises were highlighted. The winners of the federal stage of the Reliable Partner project are the 34 most reliable partners that buy power from the guaranteeing suppliers of the TNS energo Group.

Prizes and diplomas were handed to the winners by Victor Rogotsky, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Economic Policy, Irina Gekht, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, Natalia Zaikina, the Deputy of the Management Board and Head of Monitoring and Control Management of the Market Council NP (Non-Profit Partnership), Natalia Nevmerzhitskaya, the Chairman of the Management Board of the GS and ERC (Guaranteeing Suppliers and Energy Retail Companies) Association, Alexey Sitdikov, the Deputy General Director for Development of the PJSC TNS energo Group of Companies, and Rafail Tugushev, the Vice-President and Head of the Department for Work with the Power Industry Enterprises of Russia Joint-Stock Bank OJSC.

Addressing the prizewinners, the Committee Deputy Chairman, Victor Rogotsky, noted that the situation with the accounts receivables for power suppliers remains stably hard. In QI of 2016, the number of timely paid bills amounted to 53%, while late payments (up to 60 days) amounted to 26%, however, one in five bills were being paid with a delay of more than 60 days. He stressed:

“The fact of non-payment for provided power supply services leads to difficulties with servicing loans and the payment of housing and communal services and taxes, and then everything starts going round in a circle, so we need to break this cycle as soon as possible. The assessment of financial stability of counterparties, including checking their level of settlement of obligations to resource suppliers, will be one of the main requirements to the participants of procurement, on an equal level to their payments to government budgets. Energy consumers and suppliers need to work together in the interests of providing high-quality and reliable power suppliesat fair prices”.

Alexey Sitdikov, TNS Deputy General Director for Development, said:
“We are very glad to have such really reliable partners. And we, in turn, would like to become an equally reliable partner for our customers, too. We always look forward to open dialogue with our customers on issues of modernisation and improvement of the existing statutory regulations in the power industry field, in order to create the most opportune conditions for our work together”.

The Reliable Partner project was organised to promote discipline amongst consumers and to assign them the high status of ‘Reliable Customer’ recognising that they fulfill their obligations to their power suppliers in full and in a timely manner.

The PJSC TNS energo Group of Companies has traditionally been one of the organisers of the project, and now the Group has been honored with gratitude for its active participation in the project.
