TNS energo Group of Companies moves to electronic document management for its consumers
For the convenience of their customers, the regional energy retail companies which comprise TNS energo, in addition to completing the implementation of e-receipts for household subscribers, are moving to electronic document management for working with legal entities.
Using this kind of electronic workflow speeds up and facilitates the interactions between consumers and their guaranteeing suppliers, helped even more by such document exchanges making use of electronic digital signature (EDS).

Beyond this, the TNS energo holding has been one of the first companies to start implementing electronic workflow in the communications between its energy retail companies and the offices of the Federal Bailiff Service: pilot versions of the system are already under way in Karelia and in the Rostov region. As the interactions between plaintiffs and the Federal Bailiff Service are now carried out remotely, they have become operationally more efficient as a result.

The introduction of e-receipts allows a client to receive an emailed account on the same day as it is generated. An e-receipt cannot go astray on its way to the customer’s e-mail inbox, and can also be conveniently stored in an electronic archive; there is no need to print it, and so, a subscriber’s personal data are better protected this way. Each e-receipt contains a link, using which the consumer can easily pay his/her bill on the energy retail company’s website, without having to leave the comfort of home. Furthermore, using e-receipts helps to save paper, meaning that they are also very environmentally friendly.

It takes the customer just a couple of clicks to connect to the service on his/her regional guaranteeing supplier’s website. All the subscriber then has to do is to specify the appropriate personal account number and e-mail address, and also enter a four-digit anti-spam code displayed in an image on the website.

Interaction between consumers and guaranteeing suppliers should be easy and convenient. The transfer of meter-readings, the payment of electricity bills and other similar operations should take a minimum of time. In addition to improving the quality of these services, the development of remote client services and automation of the processes of interaction between the supplier and its customers promote increased payment discipline, and help to optimise costs to the company.
