More than two million customers use TNS energo’s One-stop Call Center in 2016

This means that, from the beginning of 2016, the TNS energo Call Center has now provided consultations on matters related to electricity supply for more than 2 million customers from across 11 regions of Russia. The greatest numbers of calls are from electricity consumers submitting their individual meter readings, asking questions related to the calculation of payments for their power usage or regarding the installation or replacement of meters.

To save time for its customers, the Call Center has implemented a facility for the automated submission of meter readings. Over the first 11 months of 2016 customers have used this service more than 450 thousand times. Fifty six thousand customers also used the automated services for information about account balances, to find the addresses of customer service centers, to obtain emergency phone numbers, to enquire about payment options, about the status of an individual meter or the procedure for its replacement.

The TNS energo Group is continuing to improve the One-stop Call Center. In particular, work is under way on minimizing talk time and to remove the need to enter a personal account number when asking about one’s account status or when submitting meter readings.
