TNS energo Rostov-on-Don rolls out new-style electricity bills

The main changes are:

1. Personal accounts will now contain 12 digits — the region code being added to the existing numbers. So, if a subscriber had a 10-digit account number, «61» will be added, or, if the account number contained 9 digits, "610" will be added. For the convenience of customers, a service has been developed that will allow them to check their new account numbers. More information about this service can be found by following this link.

2. For residents of apartment buildings, an additional table has been produced. It allows them to calculate the amount to be paid for the power consumed, even if the meter readings were not submitted on time.

3. The reference information section has been expanded to include the characteristics of the apartment, the typical usage for this type, and the serial number of the metering device. This innovation will allow customers to track all accruals and reassessments.

Please note that for sending readings and for making payment for electricity on the TNS energo Rostov-on-Don website, it is now sufficient to specify only the new account number. However, the procedure for logging into subscribers’ personal accounts will remain unchanged, and the entire history of transmitted readings and payments made for the old account number will be retained. Until November 2017, payments via other payment services will still be possible upon entering both the new and old account numbers.
